The Winter season to celebrate the 50th anniversary

Thick snowflakes drift gently through the air, while the sweet scent of freshly baked biscuits fills the atmosphere — from 29 November 2025 to 18 January 2026 (excluding 24/25 December), Germany’s largest theme park will once again be transformed into a magical winter wonderland. More than 3,500 snow-covered and locally sourced fir trees, shimmering Christmas baubles, crackling campfires, and festive winter decorations adorning the façades of the park’s 17 European-themed areas will cast a spell on visitors of all ages. And it’s not just Europa-Park that’s embracing the season — the year-round water world Rulantica also opens its doors to guests, offering warm, splash-filled adventures.

Winter Magic with Over 100 Attractions and Shows

From the moment you step into Europa-Park, the festive spirit takes over. The charming German Avenue welcomes guests with a traditional Christmas market, a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, and the sounds of cheerful holiday music. For a breathtaking view of the park’s winter wonderland, hop aboard the striking Bellevue Ferris wheel in the Portugal-themed area. Soar 55 metres into the sky in comfortably heated gondolas, and take in the sparkling sights from above. Thrill-seekers won’t want to miss a ride on the spectacular new rollercoaster, Voltron Nevera powered by Rimac, in the Croatian-themed area — a high-octane experience that’s sure to get your heart racing.

Dazzling Shows for the Whole Family

Europa-Park’s magical winter entertainment goes far beyond the rides — with spectacular shows the whole family will love. In the enchanting Winter Circus Revue, guests can enjoy a festive mix of lively dance numbers, captivating songs, and breathtaking acrobatic performances.Over at the Ice Arena, talented skaters take to the ice with elegant lifts, graceful pirouettes, and powerful jumps that are sure to amaze both kids and adults alike.

Mystical water fun

Anyone who wants to extend their short break can escape the dreary winter days in Rulantica and experience unforgettable water fun. In the lovingly themed areas, numerous slides, a huge wave pool and an exciting water playground ensure unlimited fun. In the Tønnevirvel water carousel, which is open all year round, visitors can rock through the crystal-clear water in a total of nine round boats. Immediately afterwards, they can access the newly built Svømmepøl outdoor pool through a passageway, where they can swim, splash around or enjoy refreshing drinks at the Svømme swim-up bar.

An overnight stay in one of the park’s six 4* (superior) themed hotels or in Silver Lake City is the perfect way to round off a short winter break.
